Copyright Policy
Last Updated: July 16, 2026. Defining ownership, digital usage licensing, and distribution protocols under modern creative standards.
1. Ownership of Works
Pursuant to the United States Copyright Act (Title 17, U.S. Code), all media files, including but not limited to photography (RAW and JPEG), video files (RAW, LOG, and final edits), graphic assets, and custom design systems created by THP Visuals remain the sole intellectual property of Trenton Harris / THP Visuals. Ownership is not transferred unless explicitly signed over in a custom written contract.
2. Standard Client Licensing
Upon receipt of full payment, clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the final delivered media assets for the purposes specified in their creative agreement:
Digital & Social
Permission to display media across website portfolios, social media, paid digital advertising, and internal presentations.
Print & Editorial
Standard licensing covers print brochures, media kits, and local editorial publications directly representing the client's business.
Limitations
Delivered assets cannot be resold, sub-licensed, or transferred to third-party organizations without written consent from THP Visuals.
3. Social Sharing & Attribution
When publishing our works on social media, we appreciate and encourage direct tags or attribution to @thpvisuals_stl or Trenton Harris. This helps support independent creative direction.
4. Modifications & AI Constraints
To preserve the artistic integrity of the work, clients may not apply destructive filters, crop out essential branding, or significantly alter the visual composition of the delivered media.
Modern AI Usage Restriction
No images, videos, or design deliverables produced by THP Visuals may be uploaded, scraped, or ingested into generative AI models, machine learning systems, or style transfer algorithms for model training or derivative generation, unless a custom enterprise license is negotiated.
5. Infringement & Enforcement
Unauthorized use of our media assets outside the scope of the client license constitutes copyright infringement. THP Visuals monitors digital publications and reserves the right to issue formal take-down notices (including DMCA notices) or pursue civil remedies for unauthorized commercial exploitation of our work.
